As part of EK strategy to widen its company activity in the field, we started to cooperate with educating institutions in Germany and
Mongolia who are interested in know-how and technology transfer. Within
the EK
Energy Efficiency Program we promote education for
sustainable development and students, trainees, and teachers from Beuth
University of Applied Sciences Berlin, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) and
the Berliner “Innungen” will come to Mongolia and take part in knowledge exchange between the two countries. Our energy efficiency program defined pilot
projects in energy-efficient building, housing, heating, water supply, and waste
water treatments. With our new partner Wilo (Worldwide Leading Manufacturer of
Pumps and Pumping Systems Founded 1872) we will build training centers in
UB and the Western Aimags, which will give training to the Mongolian people
and educate them in capacity building, solar thermal energy, and photovoltaics.
