Eurokhan has started its training for new employees to give deeper understanding of the IMS implementation.

Eurokhan has been one of the first entities to implement the Integrated Management System consisting of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015, Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001:2007 and Environment Management System 14001:2015. Therefore, it is mandatory for us to train our new employees through professional institutions such as the International Standard Academy, so that we can truly deliver you the quality and consistency you deserve.
Model scooter for the UB scooter project was tested for a short run
The model scooter has been brought to Ulaanbaatar. It was then tested on the main routes of the city. The scooter will be ready for public renting service after few adjustments and checkups.
EK has installed automation system on water hardness test together with the belgium’s BW-automation in Oyutolgoi’s concentrater technical services.
In 2017, EK and Veolia have commissioned
water quality monitoring equipment “Aquavista (https://www.veoliawatertechnologies.com/asia/en/aquavista
)” and biofouling treatment “MIOX (https://www.denora.com/our-brands/MIOX.html
) with Softener system to OT LLC, which is the biggest copper ore mining
company in Mongolia.
In February,2023, Jean-Pierre
Petit (BWA) and Tamir Puntsag (EK) have implemented following work
to reduce manual operations required by the Oyutolgoi concentrator technical
services and operators of thickener area. The work included following:
(i)
automation of daily water hardness
test by installing Testomat 2000 system and connecting to Aquavista.
(ii)
auto regeneration of softening system by modifying Aquavista code and
installing necessary hardware relay addition;
(iii)
remote system of MIOX by modifying Aquavista code to control metering pump
dosing based on Free Chlorine Residuals (FAC);
(iv)
auto dosing of oxidant by installing Hach Chlorine monitoring equipment;
(v)
dosing pump control in Aquavista by installing flow sensors on Aquaista.
This work was done for the first
time in Mongolia, especially in the mining sector.
